Tribute to Navy Seals’s Mother
A new Navy warship named after Michael Murphy, the Long Island SEAL who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor, will be christened Saturday.
The hero’s mother, Maureen Murphy, is expected to break a bottle of champagne over the ship’s bow in Bath, Maine.
